Beginning in January 2017 - Helping the Long-term Unemployed Get Back To Work!
Funded by the Chester County Workforce Development Board, this 5 week program provides the long-term unemployed career readiness training and employee assistance services. Career coaches work with participants to leverage their professional experience and to develop effective job search strategies. Upon completion, P2E assists participants find open positions at local companies while providing a wage subsidy.
An interactive workshop in a small group setting where you will learn and discuss key soft skills, your soft skill strengths, and how to make the most of them in your job search. Discussion will focus on effective strategies for getting out of your comfort zone and highlighting your soft skills as an essential part of your strengths and capabilities.
Consider attending one of our weekly Orientation sessions and walk away with a 'full' understanding of our programs and services. Information will be provided on how to access both workforce and financial stability related services. Staff will be available to direct you to appropriate resources.
Our Business Services Team can provide Employers with personalized assistance for recruitment and placement of employees. From posting positions to screening of applicants, we’re here to help. You may even use our facility for your recruitment events.
